Overview

Mio Assicuratore is a platform aimed at simplifying insurance management for both clients and agents.
The project focused on creating intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for policy management, onboarding, and customer interactions, ensuring clarity and efficiency throughout the user journey.

01 — Project Vision & Strategy

The goal of Mio Assicuratore was to provide a seamless experience for managing insurance policies, from onboarding new clients to purchasing and monitoring coverage.
The strategic focus was on combining usability, clarity, and responsive design to enhance both the client and agent experience.

Key objectives included:

• Create a streamlined intranet panel for agents to manage clients and policies
• Design an intuitive onboarding process for new policy sales
• Develop a web app for clients to view, manage, and purchase policies easily

02 — UX Research & Concept Development

I collaborated closely with the development team to define user flows, wireframes, and key interactions for both the intranet and client-facing applications.
The focus was on understanding agent and client needs, optimizing navigation, and ensuring that complex insurance information was presented clearly.

Focus areas included:

• User flows for onboarding, policy management, and purchases
• Wireframing the intranet and client web app
• Identifying friction points and simplifying complex interactions

03 — Design Process & Prototyping

I created high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to visualize the intranet panels, onboarding flows, and client web app.
The prototypes were validated with internal stakeholders to ensure usability and alignment with business requirements.

Key outcomes included:

• New logo and mascotte design
• Responsive web app for policy management and purchases
• Consistent visual identity for marketing campaigns, and across intranet and client-facing platforms

04 — My Role

I was responsible for:

• Designing a new logo and a mascotte
• Designing the intranet panel for agents and internal staff
• Creating onboarding flows in close collaboration with the Angular development team
• Developing high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
• Refining the UI for the client web app, ensuring responsiveness and usability

My contribution ensured that Mio Assicuratore delivered a user-centered experience for both agents and clients, making insurance management intuitive, efficient, and visually engaging.
